Hello, we’re Abby, Sadie and Phil and we know what it takes to slow down.

Having lived in three countries together, and travelled to over 50, we found ourselves naturally drawn to a particular vibe when it came to luxury boutique hotels and Airbnbs. Some of our favourite stays – Sparrows Lodge, Timber Cove Resort, Cavallo Point, Surfrider Malibu, Cambria Beach Lodge – were not only top end but left our souls with a feeling of utter contentment. We set out to create a home where you feel truly welcome - bring your children, your loved ones or come spend some time alone with us.

Huskisson is our special place in Australia that allows us to stop and breathe. To forget about emails and truly be present. Having grown up holidaying on the NSW South Coast, it got under our skin from an early age.

When we visit our "huskisson beach house" as our daughter, Sadie calls it, it’s all about enjoying the space. We open up the doors and louvres, allowing the fresh breeze in. We love the inside-out feeling and doors and windows stay open all summer. 

Weekends start off slow. There could be a trip to Kraken to get pastries and bread, then breakfast on the deck while we decide what to do – generally the car doesn't move much while we are in ‘Husky’. Next step will be to the beach for a morning swim and also to look out for any dolphins, whales or seals in the bay. Back for a simple lunch and then a nap, either in the bedrooms or on the huge couches. After that, it's off for another swim then to the breweries for a beer. 

Once we get home, friends or neighbours might join us for a BBQ on the deck, with tasty salads, music and drinks. Our daughter will play with newfound friends and eat ice-cream in the front garden. The ‘real world’ feels like a distant memory.
